The Guelph (Ontario) Club of Soroptimist International welcomes everyone to our site where you will enjoy our recent activities, upcoming events and updates.
Soroptimist International is a worldwide volunteer organization working through service projects to advance human rights and the status of women. It comprises 95,000 members in more than 120 countries. Members support community-based and international projects.
Soroptimist International of Guelph (SI Guelph) meets on the first Wednesday of every month, 6:30 pm, from September to June at the Guelph Country Club.

Soroptimist Day of Service


This year for the Soroptimist Day of Service members of the S.I. Guelph club lead by Soroptimist Joanna Barr, who with her husband, owns and operates Arthur Greenhouses, planted a garden at Sr. Christitne's Elizabeth Place, a home for needy women and girls.

Planting a garden at Elizabeth House, Sr. Christine's Home for women in crisis. Joanna in the pink t-shirt gave the plants from her nursery. Kelly Heung, Natalie, KimWozniak, one of Joanna's assistants and I did the planting. We will have to go later in the Summer to see how the garden has progressed.
